A long, long time ago, a couple began their dreams and created their lineage of Appaloosa horses. They believed in crossing spotted horses with quarter horses and Thoroughbreds. Their ideals were based on specific qualities: conformation, pedigree and athleticism. Mostly, mares came from race backgrounds but they had to be kind and pretty athletes. Stallions began with Hayes’ Roman Cloud, Bright Eyes Brother and two of his sons, and daughters of Eternal Sun (AQHA). Hayes’ Roman Cloud
AAAT, World Champion Race Horse & sire of World Champion Race Horses as well as A Leading Sire of Appaloosa Show Horses. He was Grand Champion Stallion & World & National Champion Get-of-Sire. Notable offspring include: Roman’s Straw Man who sired the dam of The Hunter and Roman Annie, dam of Impressive Andrew. Cloud was a gentle & quiet horse who sired foals that won under saddle as well as at halter. He was a foundation sire of the Appaloosa breed so well deserving of his Hall of Fame title.
The other Stallions

Brother’s story is a long one that began as a roping horse. He was the half brother to the AQHA World Champion Race Mare, Madden’s Bright Eyes. He is a founding sire for the Appaloosa breed who well earned his place in the Hall of Fame!!!

AAA-AQHA Champion & Leading Sire of Quarter Horses. At one time we had about 15 of his daughters so his bloodlines flow in most of our home bred mares. Always Dignified goes back to Eternal Sun on his top side.
